The internet was an invaluable tool in the research and development that has
made TurboData the high quality and popular tool that it is today. We would
like to share some of the sites with you that we found useful.
How did we do it?
TurboData was developed using Microsoft's
Visual Basic.
TurboData connects to your databases via ODBC or OLE DB connections using Microsoft's
Universal Data Access technology using DAO and ADO database protocols. Visit
this link to download the latest Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) which
contains ADO database protocols that may be used to obtain a direct connection
to your database. This site also has the latest Microsoft's Jet 4.0 Service
Pack which may be required on your computer to use TurboData.
Third Party Components
To make TurboData a robust product with many features, we used various third
party components including:
- True DBGrid Pro v6 and VS Elastic v6 by Component

- Tlist v6 and MetaDraw v2 by Bennet-Tec
