The toolbar is displayed at all times on the primary window. Buttons on the toolbar allow quick access to frequently used tasks. When a button is unavailable for use, it's color will change to gray.

Read Schema via Database Connection

Read a database schema from a connection to your source database.

Open Database

Opens a database schema previously saved in Turbodata.

Database Tree View

Display the database schema in a tree view. Each table is displayed on a separate node. Each table node has a grid containing the column details for that table.

Database Report

A Database Definition Report is created detailing all the tables and columns on the database schema. This report can be printed or exported to a number of different formats including; Rich Text and Word for Windows.

Close Database

Close the database schema that is currently open in Turbodata.

Target Database Connection

Specify the connection details to your target database. This is the database where data may be created, read, updated and deleted from with the various TurboData components.

Connect to Target Database

Open the connection to the target database. You can make TurboData automatically open this connection each time you open a database schema on the Options/Database dialog.

Disconnect from Target Database

Close the connection to the target database.

New Scenario

Create a new Insert or Delete scenario, depending on which tab is selected on the TurboData primary window.

Edit Scenario

Edit the selected Insert or Delete scenario.
